Duties & Responsibilities
MONITOR SAFETY COMPLIANCE AGAINST SLA’S AND ALL RELATIVE LEGISLATION AND POLICIES
• Complete annual departmental / station audits.
• Report audit findings on AP CAPAS QP system.
• Create CARs on the AP CAPAS QA System
• Monitor / audit corrective / preventative measures implementation.
MONITOR QUALITY COMPLIANCE AGAINST SLA’S AND ALL RELATIVE LEGISLATION AND POLICIES
• Monitor and Manage daily Quality / Safety Audits.
• Monitor and manage quality audit reports.
• Compile Monthly audit reports.
• Submit monthly QA report to AP CAPAS Station GM and relevant management members.
• Create CARs on the AP CAPAS QP System.
• Monitor / audit corrective / preventative measures implementation.
• Archive old file material.
IDENTIFY ALL POTENTIAL HAZARDS AND RISKS
• Complete scheduled annual station / departmental Hazard Identification and risk assessment.
• Issue risk assessment report to department head / station management
• Create CARs on the AP CAPAS QP System
• Monitor / audit corrective / preventative measures implementation.
INVESTIGATE ALL ACCIDENT AND INCIDENTS AND RECCOMEND CORRECTIVE AND PREVENTETIVE MEASURES
• All accidents / Incident to be registered on AP CAPAS accident / incident register.
• Issue notification of such accidents and incidents to all relevant parties.
• Investigate such accidents / incidents and issue preliminary / final reports to station GMs for approval and distribution.
• Discuss findings at station review meeting.
• Monitor / audit corrective / preventative measures implementation.
CREATE AN OPEN DOOR, POSITIVE SAFETY CULTURE.
• Ensure and non-punitive safety and quality reporting structure as per the Company policy and procedures utilizing the Safety and quality structures.
CREATE SAFETY, QUALITY AWARENESS THROUGH SAFETY CAMPAIGNS.
• Drive a continuous safety awareness program based on the finding of investigations, risk assessments, identified hazards to create a safety awareness with all CAPAS Staff.
ENFORCE SAFETY AND QUALITY COMPLIANCE
• Daily compliance monitoring.
• Non-conformances to be recorded and department heads notified.
• Citation issued for non-conformance.
• Notify the department heads of irregularities, Department head responsible for corrective action.
REVIEW SAFETY AND QUALITY PROGRAMS ON AN ANNUAL BASIS WITH RECOMMENDATIONS.
- Review such programs in line with the company policy which and review shall include Executive and line Management.
QUALITY CONTROL – ISAGO OPERATIONS MANUALS AND DOCUMENTS
• Preparation and amendment of Operational Manuals
• Preparation, amendment and formatting of company documents
• Assist in the preparation and participate in all airline audits.
• Meeting participation with any organization with which ISAGO will have any input – ACSA / Airlines / AOA
IATA BOOK ORDERS
- Determine Annual requirements.
- Complete all appropriate documentation.
- Place orders with respective suppliers.
- Distribute books nationally.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Safety qualification i.e. Degree, Diploma NOSA SAMTRAC
- Relevant Safety related certification from Accredited Safety Institution, i.e., NOSA, DEKRA, LEXUS NEXUS,
- Minimum Management experience 8 – 10 Years Aviation Management Experience
- Communication skills; good management, technical written and verbal skills essential
