Purpose of position:
Managing and leading the insured recoveries team to continually improve on success ratios and monies recovered whilst ensuring continued improvement of customer service.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the team with their day-to-day queries
Authorising and finalising claims
Ensuring that targets are met by working proactively with the team
Dealing with client queries and complaints professionally and in line with company values
Relationship management with other insurers
Providing weekly feedback to legal managers
Monthly reporting
Coaching and training of staff
Handling and monitoring performance-related issues as well as disciplinary matters
Requirements:
Matric (essential)
Minimum 6 years' experience in short term insurance claims or legal
Recoveries experience (advantageous)
Management experience (advantageous)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
