Role Overview
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, driving revenue growth, building strong business relationships, and developing strategies that support the company’s long-term goals.
Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and implement business development and sales strategies.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Identify new opportunities and drive revenue growth.

Conduct market research and monitor industry trends.

Network across the sector to expand business reach.

Lead, train, and support the sales team.

Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and market analysis.
Key Goals

Increase overall revenue and market share.

Strengthen existing accounts and acquire new clients.

Build strategic partnerships within the bedding/furniture sector.
Desired Experience & Qualification

Strong business acumen with strategic thinking capability.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

Industry knowledge (preferably furniture or manufacturing).

Matric + relevant tertiary qualification (Business, Sales, Marketing, etc.).

3–5 years proven experience in sales or business development.

Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales/growth targets.

Proficiency in MS Office and sales-related tools/software.

Leadership ability with experience training or guiding sales teams.
