Ensuring proper functioning of systems like HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical.
Inspecting buildings and systems regularly to identify potential issues.
Scheduling and coordinating repairs.
Overseeing cleaning, landscaping, and waste disposal.
Contractor, and Supplier management.
SLA implementation and management.
Safety and Security
Implementing and maintaining safety protocols, security measures, emergency procedures.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, building codes and safety standards.
Space Management
Managing space allocation, layout, and utilization to meet the needs of the organization and its occupants.
Manging and coordinating transport requirements
Budget and Cost Management
Developing and managing facilities and operations budgets.
Negotiations skills.
Exploring cost saving measures while ensuring efficient operations.
Staff Supervision
Supervising and managing facilities staff, custodians, technicians and other support personnel.
Sustainability
Maintaining accurate records of facility operations, maintenance and repairs-
Skills
Computer literate including use of various software tools and systems
Understanding of building standards
Be-able to work with small electrical tools like drills and grinders
Assist with hands on maintenance requirements
