ENVIRONMENT:
- A highly analytical and solutions-driven Junior-Mid Finance Manager is sought by a dynamic Internet Service & Network Specialist to manage the divisional regional finance team and various technical aspects related to daily business operations.
- You will be involved with the technical aspects of customer deals and contracts including accounting for lease transactions, implement and maintain IFRS policies and procedures and manage profit and loss P&L accounts and cost centres.
- The successful incumbent will require Matric/Grade 12, a BCom/BCompt Degree in Finance/Accounting/Commerce or related discipline, Sage x3, strong Excel, 5–8 years' progressive finance experience including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management & up to date Accounting and Taxation experience.
DUTIES:
Operational Functions –
- Prepare monthly pack and all other reports required by management.
- Involvement with technical aspects of customer deals and contracts including accounting for lease transactions.
- Liaise and assist both Internal and External Auditors.
- Implement and maintain IFRS policies and procedures.
- Management reporting on Income statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, variance analysis, Divisional reporting.
- Assistance with preparation of Annual Financial Statements Involvement in compliance and implementation of policies and procedures.
Business Development –
- Taxation responsibilities in terms of income tax, PAYE, VAT and any other related taxation issues.
- Manage a team of individuals.
- Special projects and ad-hoc assignment.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Perform variance analysis and provide management insights.
- Manage profit and loss P&L accounts and cost centres.
- Work closely with IT leaders, Project Managers, and senior executives.
- Provide financial guidance to support strategic technology decisions.
- Translate financial data into actionable business recommendations.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and improving financial efficiency.
- Monitor project costs and ensure spending remains within budget.
- Develop KPIs and performance dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Manage financial risks related to technology investments and contracts.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications –
- Matric Grade 12 Compulsory.
- BCom/ BCompt Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- Sage x3.
- Professional qualification preferred CASA, CIMA, ACCA, SAICA articles, or equivalent.
Experience/Skills –
- Minimum 5–8 years' progressive finance experience.
- At least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Up to date Accounting and Taxation experience.
- Proficiency in Excel and Outlook and knowledge of MS Office.
- Valid Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle.
Advantageous –
- Experience within the ICT, Telecommunications, Technology, or related corporate environment.
