We are seeking a highly experienced Executive Chef with proven expertise in hospital and healthcare environments, particularly in specialised diets and nutrition standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and implement nutritionally appropriate menus, including therapeutic and specialised diets (renal, diabetic, low sodium, texture-modified, etc.)
- Ensure full compliance with hospital dietary standards and clinical requirements
- Manage costing, budgeting, and food cost control, ensuring profitability and minimal wastage
- Lead, train, and supervise kitchen staff to deliver consistent high-quality service
- Oversee food production, presentation, and portion control
- Collaborate with dietitians and clinical teams to ensure patient-specific dietary needs are met
- Drive research and development (R&D) initiatives to improve menu offerings and patient satisfaction
- Ensure adherence to HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards
- Manage stock control, procurement, and supplier relationships
- Monitor and improve service delivery and patient meal experience
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant Culinary Qualification (Professional Cookery or equivalent)
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience as an Executive Chef within a hospital or healthcare setting
- Proven experience working with specialised/therapeutic diets
- Strong knowledge of menu planning in a clinical environment
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, costing, and financial control
- Excellent people management and leadership skills
- Sound knowledge of food safety legislation (HACCP)
- Must have own transport.
