Job Description
- An industry leader within the hospitality industry is seeking a customer centric and dedicated Guest House Manager.
- The Guest House Manager will oversee the daily operations, ensuring seamless guest experiences, high-quality service and business profitability.
Key responsibilities:
- Welcoming guests, handling inquiries and guest requests and complaints
- Ensuring high guest satisfaction
- Scheduling staff in accordance with operational needs.
- Handling bookings on all platforms online, WhatsApp, mail, telephonic
- Daily inspection of rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and that the standards of the guest house are met.
- Monitoring stock levels on food, beverages, cleaning products and toiletries and making timeous orders where necessary.
- Managing budgets, processing payments and invoices
- Promoting the guest house on social media and booking platforms
- Stand by during weekends and after hours to provide a seamless guest experience
- Handling administrative tasks
- Assist with repairs and maintenance within capabilities

Minimum requirements:
- Matric or equivalent NQF level qualification
- Excellent communication skills Afrikaans and English
- Computer literacy Excel, Canva, Nightbridge, Booking.com
- Experience with Google App Suite will be advantageous
- Proficiency with Point of Sale POS systems
- Own transport
- A valid driver's license
- The successful incumbent must have at least two2 years' experience in an administrative position, experience within the hospitality industry will be advantageous
