We looking for a HR Manager to lead the HR team to attract, retain, develop and reward competent, high performing, adaptable employees to meet the ever-changing business needs, provide a value-add partnership to the business, partnering with management and employees, understanding business requirements and delivering a customer centric HR service.
To deliver the HR strategy in support of the overall achievement of the organisation’s strategy.
Build relationships with leaders, employees and unions to enable a stable workforce and climate, while maintaining legislative compliance requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional facilitation to assist employees and business partners to deal with ever changing environment
- Build relationships with Business Partners to optimize the people and organization structure requirements to achieve the organization’s short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Consult with business partners on vacancy requirements and ensure recruitment and selection procedures are implemented and delivered within required SLA
- Demonstrate professional ability to provide HR consultation to business partners and employees on HR issues including employee relations, workforce planning, diversity, remuneration, HR policies, performance & talent management.
- Translate business needs into HR priorities
- Implement and maintain the Talent Management Framework to identify, retain and develop future successors and critical skills within the organization
- Facilitate the deployment of Business Unit strategic plans by ensuring that the HR strategy aligns to the business needs.
- Ensure contents of job profiles and score cards are accurate and relevant
- Partnering with Business Units /Teams to implement, review and analyze, performance improvement programs to achieve a High-Performance Organization while managing and minimizing poor performance.
- Coach and manage the probation process to ensure new employees become fully operational within required timeframes
- Ensure effective IR procedures are adhered to in order to achieve a harmonious employee relations climate while carefully monitoring the grievance and disciplinary procedures.
- Make sound decisions and be creative in developing alternative solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Use metrics; analytics and report writing skills to make sound decisions and keep business partners informed

Qualifications
- A HR degree is a prerequisite for the position with a minimum of at least 5 years generalist HR management experience
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Employee Value Proposition
- Detailed knowledge of the employee value chain
- Full understanding of and experience in the Human Resource value chain. (including Recruitment, Industrial Relations, Remuneration & Benefits; Talent Management & Payroll)
- Empirical knowledge of holistic Talent Management Strategy
- Demonstrated experience in Training & Development, Learnerships/Internships/Apprenticeships
