We are looking for a UX Designer, to work on a hybrid basis in South Africa (Johannesburg). This is going to be a 6 month + extendable contract.
Responsibilities:
Conduct heuristic assessments of existing digital products to identify areas for user experience improvement
Define design principles and contribute to the development of a digital style guide
Design wireframes and user flows for multiple MVPs, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly experiences
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business and technical requirements
Support usability testing and gather feedback to inform design decisions
Enable and coach teams on the practice of user experience design
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of brand, products, and services to ensure design consistency and coherence
Skills:
Strong understanding of human-centered design principles and design thinking
Excellent design skills, with a focus on experience design
Strong track-record in user experience design of consumer facing digital products
Experience with user research methods and analysis
Excellent collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite or similar
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and critically
