What you'll do:
As a People Consultant, you will play a crucial role in providing deep support, HR & ER expertise and advice using a coaching framework.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve consulting across the employee lifecycle, ensuring that the employee experience aligns with the company's culture.
You will partner with various business areas to formulate ideas, optimise solutions and enable people strategies.
Your role will also involve coaching on recruitment and onboarding, performance and conduct, transformation as well as facilitating the implementation of people strategies.
Consult across the employee lifecycle, in partnership with P & O Leads
Ensure the employee experience is entrenched in the company's culture
Partner with business areas to formulate ideas, optimise solutions and enable people strategies
Consult and coach on recruitment and onboarding, performance and conduct, transformation, facilitation and implementation of people strategies
Leverage and use of internal skills and talent (internal mobility)
Facilitate succession planning and career pathing guidance
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this People Consultant role will bring a deep understanding of company culture along with extensive knowledge and experience in relation to people management.
You should have commercial acumen along with an appreciation of the regulatory environment.
Your strong coaching and consulting skills will be essential for this role. Additionally, you should be able to effectively manage retrenchment, misconduct, poor performance, grievances, and retirement processes.
