Claims Administrator Job Specification
Job Purpose:
To efficiently manage the administrative aspects of the claims process, including requesting payments for service providers, managing third-party and recovery claims through an outsourced service provider, and processing windscreen claims. The ideal candidate must be accurate, organized, and able to handle a high volume of email communications professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
· Request and follow up on payments to external service providers.
· Process all recovery and third-party claims through our appointed external service provider.
· Handle and process all windscreen claims.
· Accurately maintain claims records and documentation.
· Liaise with service providers, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth processing of claims.
· Manage a large volume of email correspondence effectively and efficiently.
· Assist with general claims administration tasks as required.

Minimum Requirements:
· Matric (Grade 12) (Ess).
· Full Fais Credits (ess)
· RE 5 qualification is essential.
· Minimum 5+ years' experience in short-term insurance claims administration.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
· Experience using claims management systems will be advantageous.
