KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare the correct cages for packaging the preforms.
Filling of preforms into the correct packaging
Reset the soft drops
Move the completed pallets to the aisle using the pallet jerk trolley.
Do the necessary inspections and quality checks to ensure that preforms are produced to the correct standard.
Ensure good housekeeping inline with GMP rules and procedures.
Inform the shift supervisor about any issues, quality, health risk and safety, that might need to be corrected.
Clean floor and equipment when required to do so.
Fill in the necessary documents.
Print product identification labels.
Based on the Business Process Management (BPM) processes the job holder is responsible for:
S6 (Assure product conformity)
S6.3 Responsible to comply with all Hygiene requirements in the plant.
S6.2 Support complaint handling by reporting all identified non-conformities and support in the implementation of effective corrective actions determined by the process owner, when needed.
S10 (Ensure occupational health, safety and environment)
Ensure that HSE compliance in own area of responsibility.
Report any incident or unsafe conditions seen in the plant/ work area.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Grade 12 or equivalent
Basic computer skills
High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area
Strong attention to detail
Willing to work shifts and overtime when required.
Capable of lifting up to 30 kg, push/pull 100kg to 350kg and may be required to stand for long hours,
Possess strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team,
Ability to speak, read and write in English
