A well-established insurance brokerage is looking for a New Business Broker with a proven track record in business development and relationship management. The successful candidate will focus on generating new business within the medical sector, working closely with healthcare professionals and providing tailored short-term insurance solutions.
This role is ideal for someone with a consultative sales approach and strong expertise in both Personal and Commercial Lines insurance.
Responsibilities:
Generate new business opportunities within the medical professional sector.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals.
Provide consultative advice on suitable Personal and Commercial Lines insurance solutions.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to policy placement.
Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
Deliver exceptional client service while maintaining professional industry standards.
Meet sales and business development targets.
Ensure compliance with FAIS and all applicable insurance regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years' experience in the short-term insurance industry.
RE5 qualification.
Minimum of 130 insurance credits.
Up-to-date CPD points.
Strong knowledge of both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines insurance.
Proven experience in new business development and consultative selling.
Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle.
