About the Role
The Parts Sales Representative at VW Fourways will be responsible for managing the sales of automotive parts and accessories to customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
This customer-facing role requires a strong understanding of automotive components and the ability to effectively communicate and advise customers on their needs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the correct automotive parts and accessories for their vehicles.
Provide excellent customer service and support, establishing strong relationships with clients.
Maintain an organized and efficient parts inventory, ensuring all products are properly stocked and accessible.
Process orders and manage sales transactions accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with the service team to fulfill parts requirements for maintenance and repair jobs.
Stay updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to parts orders or specifications.
Uphold the dealership's standards of professionalism and integrity in all customer interactions.
Requirements
Proven experience in automotive parts sales or a related retail environment.
Solid understanding of automotive components and their functions.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications in automotive technology or sales.
Experience with point-of-sale systems or dealership software.
Knowledge of Volkswagen vehicles and parts catalog.
A valid driver's license and the ability to drive vehicles on-site.
