This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in South Africa while collaborating with an experienced and creative team.
Duties & Responsibilities
As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the creative development of print, digital and product design projects from concept through to final production.
- Designing visually compelling marketing campaigns, product packaging, catalogues, books, promotional material and digital content.
- Developing innovative design concepts that align with our brand identity and business objectives.
- Collaborating with Marketing, Product Development and other cross-functional teams to deliver impactful creative solutions.
- Maintaining and evolving brand consistency across all products and communication channels.
- Preparing accurate print-ready artwork according to production specifications.
- Overseeing image editing, retouching and product photography where required.
- Applying advanced typography, layout and visual storytelling principles to all creative work.
- Providing creative guidance, mentoring and constructive feedback to junior and mid-level designers.
- Managing multiple high-priority projects while ensuring quality, accuracy and deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Staying up to date with design trends, emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve creative output.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 6 years' professional Graphic Design experience.
- Proven experience developing creative concepts and executing high-quality design across print and digital platforms.
- Strong experience in product packaging, publication design and commercial print production.
- Experience mentoring or providing creative direction within a design team will be advantageous.
Key Competencies
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, creativity and technical excellence.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
- Advanced understanding of typography, layout design, branding and visual communication.
- Experience with product photography, image editing and colour management.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding project management and organisational skills.
- Ability to balance multiple deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Highly proficient in both Mac OS and Windows.
