Key Responsibilities Include
Electrical Reticulation & Distribution Infrastructure
- Design reticulation networks for residential and industrial developments
- Manage High Voltage up to 132kV power distribution and MV/LV systems
- Conduct master planning, tariff investigations, and bulk infrastructure assessments
Building Services & Electronic Systems
- Engineering of power, MV/LV distribution, and standby generation plants / UPS
- Design indoor/outdoor, area, roadway, highway, and façade lighting
- Implement earthing, lightning protection, and pump station systems
- Integrate electronic services Fire detection, CCTV, access control, data/telecoms, PA systems, and Building Management Systems
Project Management
- Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and compliance
Candidate Criteria
- Education: BTech in Electrical Engineering or BSc/BEng Electrical Engineering Degree
- Professional Registration: Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer Pr.Eng or Professional Engineering Technologist Pr.TechEng preferred or Candidate tracking for professional registration
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of proven consulting experience in building services and reticulation
- Software: High-level computer literacy relevant to engineering design and analysis
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, active listening, and communication skills
- Attributes: Sharp attention to detail, ethical practice, and deep professional commitment
