To provide effective and efficient housekeeping and cleaning services across a range of designated areas as well as to implement and adhere to Afrirent’s occupational health and safety protocols.
Housekeeping and Kitchen Duties
- Implements effective and hygienic housekeeping activities at all times
- Prepares refreshments for Senior Executives and guests
- Assists with the preparation and serving of catering requests
- Prepares the meeting rooms for meetings
- Replenishes the kitchen consumables to ensure that refreshments are available for employees’ consumption
- Keeps track of consumables and reports back timeously when replenishments are required
- Maintains adequate levels of cleaning products, groceries and / or consumables
Cleaning Duties
- Cleans designated areas (including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping)
- Clears all obstacles from the common areas to ensure consistent safety protocols and procedures
- Performs and documents routine inspections of the allocated areas and performs basic maintenance activities
- Conducts deep cleaning on all specified areas
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Compliance
- Clears all obstacles from the common areas to ensure consistent safety protocols and procedures
- Adheres strictly to Afrirent’s hygiene code of conduct
- Adheres to all OHS policies and standards and reports identified hazards
- Identifies and reports deficiencies and / or repairs

Pay: R7 203,00 per month
