Job purpose:
- An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic and driven Training Officer to join our Learning & Development team in KZN Durban or Pietermaritzburg based. This role is ideal for a passionate individual who thrives on developing people, driving performance, and influencing business results through effective training.
Key Accountable Responsibilities:
- Facilitate impactful training interventions that drive performance and productivity
- Develop and support new employees and identified successors to ensure readiness for growth opportunities
- Partner with line managers to strengthen team capability and performance
- Monitor training effectiveness and continuously improve learning outcomes
- Travel extensively throughout KZN and surrounding areas for business purposes
Competency and qualification requirements:
- Grade 12
- Facilitator/Train the trainer qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ proven experience as a Training Officer within a performance-driven environment
- Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable training outcomes
- Microfinance industry experience advantageous
