The Till Packer is responsible for providing excellent customer service by efficiently packing customers' purchases at the checkout point. The role ensures that items are packed carefully, safely, and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
Key Responsibilities:
· Pack customers' purchases neatly and efficiently at the till.
· Handle fragile items with care and pack items appropriately.
· Provide friendly and courteous customer service.
· Keep the checkout, packing area, and front-end department clean and organized.
· Perform general cleaning duties within the front-end department as required.
· Assist cashiers in maintaining a smooth checkout process.
· Follow store policies, procedures, and safety standards.
· Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by management.
Requirements:
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
· Friendly and customer-focused attitude.
· Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
· Ability to lift and carry shopping bags and light stock items.
· Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
· Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
· Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Basic understanding of customer service principles.
