Job Summary
This role involves providing efficient administrative and open operational support, ensuring a smooth day-to-day functioning of the branch by managing documentation, coordinating communication, supporting financial and client- related processes and maintaining accurate records in line with company procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
General administrative duties to support daily operations
Processing and capturing of supplier invoices and supporting documentation
Creating, maintaining, and tracking purchase orders
Liaising with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and queries
Maintaining accurate financial and operational records
Capturing stock movements and updating records on the system
Assisting with stock counts (administration and reconciliation)
Investigating and reporting stock variances
Maintaining accurate stock registers and documentation
Liaising with mine personnel to monitor, reconcile, and keep track of stock uptake, ensuring accurate stock usage records and timely reporting of discrepancies
Attendance record keeping of employees
Capturing HR-related data (attendance registers, leave forms, Borwa)
Assisting with general employee administration and documentation
Qualifications and Skills
Matric / Grade 12
3 - 5 years' experience in an administrative role covering finance and HR support
Relevant diploma (Finance / Administration / HR) (advantageous)
Previous experience working on an accounting or ERP system(advantageous)
Proficient in MS Office suite
Good numerical and reconciliation ability
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership of multiple functions
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in English
