Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Qualified Diesel Mechanic Trade Test or Heavy Earthmoving Equipment (HEM) Trade Qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years' post-trade experience.
- Extensive hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting experience on Komatsu equipment.
- Proven experience performing diagnostics, failure analysis, and fault finding in a production mining, construction, or heavy equipment environment.
- Experience working directly on customer sites.
- Previous technical training experience will be advantageous.
Training Qualifications
The following are advantageous but not mandatory:
- Assessor Qualification
- Facilitator Qualification
- Moderator Qualification
- Any recognised Technical Training or Adult Education certification
Other Requirements
- Valid driver's licence.
- Medically fit to access mining and industrial sites.
- Willing and able to travel extensively throughout South Africa; neighboring and overseas countries.
- Comfortable spending extended periods away from home when required.
