The Marketing and Social Media Associate will work to expand the reach of our brand and bring our products to life through social media marketing, events, and ambassador programs. This role will play a key part in expanding Frances Valentine’s digital presence, strengthening our influencer relationships, coordinating brand events, and creating content that increases the visibility of the brand.
Following the constant pulse on the fashion industry and cultural trends, the Marketing & Social Media Associate will work with the creative, marketing, and retail teams to create content that supports brand initiatives, tells the brand story, and drives engagement and sales.
Social Media
- Coordinate and execute social media content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Pinterest for both Frances Valentine and Elyce Arons’ accounts.
- Monitor social media trends, analytics, and community engagement to optimize strategy and reach.
- Respond to customer inquiries and comments, fostering brand loyalty and interaction.
- Track and report the effectiveness of content against KPIs including both engagement metrics and sales
- Work with the creative team to ideate and create original content across all relevant channels
- Work with digital marketing agency to identify and share relevant content for paid opportunities, including whitelisted influencer content
Influencer and Affiliate Marketing
- Identify, engage, and manage relationships with influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors.
- Manage inbound and outbound gifting to influencers, editors, and brand ambassadors
- Track influencer performance, collecting content and analytics to measure impact.
- Manage Affiliate program through Impact, including onboarding new affiliates, influencers, and media partners, and sending periodic newsletters to amplify FV promotions
- Onboard FV to ShopMy and use the platform to expand the influencer network, provide gifting, and create deeper relationships with content creators
Events & Community Building
- Work with store managers and VP of Marketing to create a calendar of events to bring customers into the world of Frances Valentine, including store events, influencer events, pop ups, and other opportunities to meet the customer in the real world
- Plan and execute events, including logistics, invitations, food/bev, etc.
- Support stores and events with local marketing opportunities with targeted email campaigns and social media
- Manage Elyce’s calendar of events and appearances
Public Relations
- Work with VP of Marketing to manage PR agency to draft press releases, pitch media, and manage editor relationships
- Manage Editor gifting requests
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 2-4 years experience in marketing, media, or fashion-related industry
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Creativity and enthusiasm for the fashion industry
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for aesthetics
